Everything You’re Wondering About Wedding Planning
How far in advance should wedding planning services be booked?
For full-service planning, we recommend booking 9-12 months in advance, though we've successfully planned beautiful weddings on shorter timelines. Day-of coordination is typically booked 3-6 months out. If you're working with a shorter timeline or getting married during peak season (May-October), reach out as soon as possible so we can discuss availability and what's realistic for your date.
What’s the main difference between day-of coordination and full planning?
Full planning means we're with you from the start. We’re helping with vendor selection, design decisions, budget management, and all logistics leading up to your wedding. Day of coordination could be a single coordinator or a full coordination team, depending on the needs of your event. We take over vendor communication about 4-6 weeks before your wedding, finalize your timeline, and manage all execution so you can actually enjoy getting married.
Do you do all types of weddings?
Absolutely! We've got two decades of wedding planning experience under our belt, which includes everything from large luxury weddings to backyard ceremonies, and food truck receptions to elegant ballroom celebrations. Whether you're planning a 20-person micro wedding or a 200-guest celebration, a traditional ceremony or something completely unique, we bring the same level of expertise and care. Our services include every budget, style, religion, tradition, culture. Love is love!
What if we’ve already started some planning, but need help tying all the loose ends together?
That's exactly what our mid-range planning package is for! We can step in at any stage, whether you've booked your venue and need help with everything else, or you're 80% done and just need someone to tie up loose ends and coordinate execution. We'll assess what's already been done, identify what still needs attention, and create a plan to get you to your wedding with as little stress as possible. Custom packages are also available to meet your specific needs.
Can we use our own vendors?
Of course, we’re happy to work with vendors you've already booked or have relationships with. And if you need recommendations, we'd love to connect you with our trusted network of professionals. But no, we never require you to use specific vendors. Our job is to coordinate seamlessly with whoever you choose and make sure they have everything they need to deliver exceptional service on your day.
